The Classic Archives’ Copyright Agent for notice of claims of copyright
infringement on or relating to this Web Site can be reached by sending
an e-mail to sales@theclassicarchives.com.
Notification: To be effective, the Notification must include the
following:
-
Your email should contain an attachment
in PDF format of a scanned letter that contains all of the
following information:
-
A physical scanned signature of a
person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive
right that is allegedly infringed;
-
Identification of the product title
that claims of infringement are against, or if multiple
copyrighted works are covered by a single notification, a
representative list of such works. A simple list of DVD
titles or model numbers is sufficient.
-
Identification of the material on
each disk that is claimed to be infringing or to be the subject
of infringing activity and that is to be removed or access to
which is to be disabled, and information reasonably sufficient
to permit The Classic Archives to locate the material. If
a particular video on a DVD is infringing, we need the name of
that video. If a particular image is infringing a DVD, we
need the name of the image.
-
For each piece of infringing
material, image, or video file, we need the full name and
contact information of the original copyright holder of the
work.
-
The signed letter for the
complaining part should have full contact information including
full name, address, telephone number, and a valid email address
for a reply.
-
A statement that the Complaining
Party has a good faith belief that use of the material in the
manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner,
its agent, or the law; and
-
A statement that the information in
the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that
the Complaining Party is authorized to act on behalf of the
owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
Upon receipt of the written Notification containing the information as
outlined in 1 through 6 above:
-
We will take action to verify your
claims and if verified, we will remove or disable access to the
material that is alleged to be infringing.
-
If we need more information to remove
the alleged material, we will contact you for more information.
You agree to timely respond to all of our emails. If you do
not respond to an email from The Classic Archives that requests more
information, your claim will be denied.
-
If you are claiming copyright for
numerous works on a compilation, we will ask you for all the names
and contact information of each original author and copyright holder
and we will contact them to insure that you are a legally authorized
representative.
If all the procedures as laid out are not followed exactly, your claim
will be denied for absence of sufficient evidence. |
